RSI’s Jamie Prowse Receives Two Certificates of Appreciation from DOE

Jamie Prowse, RSI Senior Environmental Scientist/Health Physicist supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) West Valley Demonstration Project, recently received two Certificates of Appreciation from DOE Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management, Monica Regalbuto. One certificate recognized Jamie’s role in the disposal of three large vitrification components that presented significant regulatory and technical challenges because of the size and nature of the waste forms. The second certificate recognized his role in relocating 275 high-level waste canisters from the main process building to an onsite storage pad. This action accelerated the Phase I cleanup completion by more than one year. Both certificates commended Jamie’s diligence in ensuring the safety of his colleagues and protection of the public and environment during the work execution.

RSI is an integrated team subcontractor to the North Wind Solutions, LLC team that was awarded a technical and administrative support services contract for the DOE Office of Environmental Management site located near Buffalo, New York.

RSI is proud to have a company full of employees like Jamie that routinely delight our customers and ensure the safety of their co-workers and the public. Congratulations, Jamie!
