RSI Portsmouth Donates School Supplies

JASPER, Ohio - RSI recently donated $1,000 worth of school supplies to the Jasper Elementary Open House on Monday, August 16 in Jasper, Ohio.

Students received free school supplies, including bags packed with crayons, pencils, scissors, rulers, glue sticks and more.  Items donated also included folders, notebooks, tissues and cleaning supplies.

"This school in Pike County has a lot of need and this is just another example of how RSI makes a difference in southern Ohio," said Rick Greene, Portsmouth's Public Affairs Manager.  "Sometimes these basic school requirements can cause hardships on families, particularly families with multiple children, and this is an effort to assist our neighbors.  Many local businesses participate in this event to help these students and these families, and RSI takes pride in playing a role in this worthwhile effort."

Rick Greene and Brooke Greene handed out supplies and greeted parents and students.  More than 500 students participated.
