November 17, 2016 - Portsmouth Environmental Technical Services contractor Restoration Services, Inc. (RSI) earned 96% of its available award fee in Fiscal Year 2016 with an overall “excellent” rating, according to a scorecard by the Department of Energy (DOE) released on November 15, 2016. RSI earned “excellent” ratings in the following categories:
· Quality and Effectiveness of Performing Administrative Support
· Quality and Effectiveness of Performing Environmental, Safety and Health, Quality Assurance, and Field Support
· Quality and Effectivenessof Performing Project Support
· Quality and Effectiveness in Managing the Program
DOE praised RSI for providing “vital” quality assurance support in document review; stated that RSI “exceeded” contract requirements and environmental management goals on employee safety; and that RSI staff were “invaluable” in assisting the DOE in the review and comment of proposals and submittals. “RSI has provided excellent support throughout the fiscal year and has met contract requirements and exceeded almost all of the performance goals and objectives for the period,” the scorecard states.
RSI exceeded contract requirements and Environmental Management goals on employee safety by completing FY16 with zero Total Recordable Cases (TRCs)/Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred (DART) cases (to date, RSI has worked over 975,000 hours without a recordable injury or illness). Additionally, DOE listed several strengths on the scorecard that contributed to the overall “excellent” rating.
