Oak Ridge, September 2015 – Restoration Services, Inc. (RSI) is an integrated team subcontractor on the North Wind Solutions LLC team that was awarded a support services contract under the Department of Energy’s environmental management program. The team will provide technical and administrative support services to the West Valley Demonstration Project site near Buffalo, New York. The award is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a maximum value of $15 million over a five-year ordering period.
According to the DOE announcement, the support services under this contract include: subject matter expert assistance to support the DOE directly and to support DOE oversight of the site prime contractor; technical consultation and implementation of a variety of safety, environmental, quality, and health programs; environmental characterization support; database maintenance and administration of DOE’s data management system; support of project management and controls, project execution, and safeguards and security; and ancillary administrative support.
RSI is also teamed with North Wind on a recent winning bid to manage DOE’s Transuranic Waste Processing Facility in Oak Ridge, TN, but that award was protested by other bidders and is currently under review at the Government Accountability Office.
