Matt, Senior Project Manager

Matt joined RSI in 2016 at our RSI Portsmouth office working as a Senior Project Manager on the Environmental Technical Services II contract. In 2016, he transferred to the RSI Oak Ridge office as a Project Controls Manager working at the East Tennessee Technology Park. He has over 15 years of varied project management and team leadership experience. Over the past several years, he has focused on using EVMS to align and facilitate management decision making in both government and private sector settings. He is skilled in coordinating baseline change management, Risk Management Planning, risk modeling using Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, and EVMS certification, including Cost Account Manager training and corrective action resolution.

Matt has leveraged his experience and his relationships with the DOE staff, Contractors, and RSI's team to help move the federal and contractors' project controls programs forward, with an emphasis on using earned value principles to manage the project. Additionally, he’s shown valuable leadership and expertise in guiding compliance with DOE Order 413.3B for the Acquisition of Capital Assets in his role on the On-Site Waste Disposal Facility project team.

With a background in Turf Science at the Ohio State University, Matt's business education was supplied by the "Saints" of Thomas More College. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and has numerous certifications covering project controls software, estimating, and risk. On days away from the project, you can find Matt playing golf, racing sailboats on Lake Erie, or putting together a dinner for friends and family
