Qualifications

  • Prefer Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline with a minimum of 2 years project controls experience or an associate degree with a minimum 4 years project controls experience or a high school degree with a minimum of 6 years project controls experience
  • Experienced in the following:
    • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring project cost budgets and life-cycle baseline schedules for large‑scale projects using Primavera P6™ scheduling software and Project Management Control Processor (PMCP) or equivalent Earned Value Management System (EVMS) software
    • Identifying critical path schedule activities and milestones
    • Creating schedule logic and activity sequencing
    • Performing schedule and activity optimization
    • Performing cost, quantity, and labor resource‑loading, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
    • Developing baseline documentation to include scoping documents and Basis of Estimates
    • Tracking and reporting key performance indicators and milestones
    • Performing baseline change control and management

o    Interfacing with engineering and resource disciplines to plan and track project tasks and discipline requirements

o    Preparing schedule outputs and reports

    • Interfacing with Project Controls Specialists and Project Managers in managing large-scale projects
  • Proficient in administering project controls processes using an EVMS system and procedures for controlling large-scale project using Primavera P6™ and PMCP or equivalent EVMS software

RADIOLOGICAL SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree with a minimum of 5 years of radiological, operational health physics experience, health physics engineering/dosimetry/training experience, and DOE/NNSA complex or Gaseous Diffusion Enrichment facility experience is required.  Performs Radiation Protection/Health Physics engineering oversight functions. Typical job responsibilities are to assist and support management and facility representatives in the oversight of the Radiation Protection Program core functions by oversight of Site contractor’s ability in evaluating, monitoring, and interpreting levels of radiation and contamination in accordance with the DOE approved Radiation Protection Program (RPP).  An “L or Q” clearance is preferred.

·        Contributes to the modification of policies and procedures to enhance radiological safety.

·        Provides interpretative guidance regarding radiation levels and appropriate controls.

Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study Lead

Job Description:

Lead a multidisciplinary team in the preparation of CERCLA remedial investigation/feasibility studies, proposed plans, records of decisions and related documentation.  This includes the technical evaluations, assessments and analysis required by EPA guidance.  The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering or science and an advanced degree with proven leadership abilities and a minimum of 10 years of CERCLA experience including the preparation of remedial investigations and feasibility studies for Federal Agencies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Technical direction/responsibility for preparation of a remedial investigations/feasibility studies, and proposed plans and records of decision and related CERCLA documentation

·        Direct and support a multidisciplinary team in data evaluation, risk assessments, alternative development/evaluation and preparation of CERCLA documents

·        Provide technical guidance and direction to the project team and DOE customer

·        Coordinate simultaneous technical evaluations and report preparation

·        Direct and support specialty subcontractors

·        Manage technical efforts within the project schedule and budget

·        Provide updates to the Project Manager andDOE customer

·        Support the Project Manager and DOE customer at meetings with the regulators

·        Coordinate the preparation of responses to regulators comments on the RI/FS and other CERCLA documents

Qualifications:

·        Minimum of 10 years of CERCLA  experience including the preparation ofremedial investigations, feasibility studies, proposed plans,  records of decision and other CERCLA documents

·        Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary team

·        Effective written and verbal communication skills

·        Knowledge of EPA CERCLA document guidance

·        Experience in working with Federal Agencies, DOE preferred

·        Experience in working with State and Federal regulators

·        Self-motivated, requires limited direction

CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Qualifications:
 
Candidate must have at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of Federal and/or commercial contracting experience. Knowledge in Federal Government acquisition process and regulations including working knowledge of the FAR, DEAR, FAR/DEAR supplements, GSA regulations and procedures relating to Federal Government contracting is required.  Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree is acceptable provided the candidate has at least 10 years of relevant practical experience. Desired: DOE or other federal contracting support experience.
 
Essential Job Duties:

·       Provide procurement support to contracting officers (CO) and contracting officer representatives (COR) in all areas of pre-award and contract management including documents supporting the business clearance process, award fee process, and subcontract consent process. 

·       Conduct assessments, provide strategic recommendations for challenges encountered in contract administration and support the evaluation of performance measurement baselines (PMBs) as applicable. 

·       Prepare, organize and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance. 

·       Generate reports required to monitor contract compliance. 

·       Assist with pricing and other activities for proposals and contracts. 

·       Provide support for data calls from DOE-HQ and other agencies.
